Welcome to Atlantus! Completed in September 2002, Atlantus is a breathtaking luxury beach house at Coast Cottages on St. Simons Island - featured in Coastal Living Magazine and home to the Coastal Living Magazine 2003 Idea House.

Finely crafted and appointed with antiques, lime stone fireplaces, Brazilian cherry floors, granite counter tops, Subzero appliances, luxurious personalized bath robes and decorated with a West Indies' flair, Atlantus creates a warm and casual elegance.

Stay for a week or a month at what is perhaps the finest beach house on the island. Walk down the brick paved Coast Cottage Lane past classic beach homes with picket fenced yards, grand porches with rocking chairs and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean to your luxury vacation home ... Atlantus Cottage!

Rising three stories and some forty-five feet off the sand, Atlantus is a four bedroom home  with soaring ceilings,  two masters suites, two living rooms and four and one half baths.  It sleeps 10. From the moment you step onto the travertine marble foyer and Brazilian cherry floors,  you experience the grand scale of this beautiful beach house.

FIRST FLOOR
A master bedroom with double vanity bath and monogrammed robes shares the first floor with two other bedrooms. Each has a  private marbled tiled bath and jacuzzi tub.  A dedicated children's bedroom sleeps four. Children have an open parlor with cable TV and DVD that is flanked by hand carved antique Indonesian columns. This gives the children space away from the upper level adult play areas.  A utility room with full size washer, dryer and work space completes this level.

SECOND FLOOR
The second floor houses the great room with library, lime stone fireplace, surround sound theater, gourmet kitchen and dining room.  Its twelve foot ceilings create an open, airy interior.  There is a grand porch off the front of the house where you can view the Atlantic and feel the ocean  breeze.  It's a great place to grill out at the day's end and  dine with your family under the stars while listening to the ocean waves break on the beach at high tide.

THIRD FLOOR
Walk up to a third floor that is entirely dedicated to a grand master suite complete with lime stone fireplace, two private balconies, marble tiled bath with double vanity, shower with dual heads,  huge new technology water massage tub, monogrammed bath robes and an additional washer and dryer. Take your morning coffee from the wet bar on the third floor and sit watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean from your private balconies.

After a day at the beach or golf course, escort your guests with favorite beverage  to the roof deck rising over forty-five feet above the Atlantic Ocean.  Here you'll be thrilled by views of the ocean, surrounding marsh and rooftops of nearby cottages from this spectacular height.  The views are dazzling!
